Tangram testnet V2.0 was launched on December the 29th 2020.
The community fund was created originally for those who, prior to the 28th of February 2018, had provably donated to a privacy DAG project which turned out to have no activity or substance. Community Fund participants were allocated free Tangrams proportional to their donations lost to other failed or scam projects. The initiative closed with 56.73% of the fund allocation claimed.
After discussion with the community, it was decided to make the remaining 43.27% of the fund (2.16% of the total supply) available to the community via contributions.
The Founder's Percentage was cut by some amount to enable reducing the price, and increase the amount of TGM available to 4.32% of the total supply.
The price was initially set to $0.05 USD / TGM, and increased to $0.07 USD / TGM after the release of Testnet 2 in December 2020.
